Advantages for Parents Choosing Monitored Care
The Canada-Wide "You Bet I CARE!" study, based on the Caregiver Interaction Scale (CIS) and the Family Day Care Rating Scale (FDCRS), completed October 13, 2000, found that "regulated" (approved) providers are rated as providing higher quality care on standardized measures.
It is our sincere hope that you will, when you need to have someone provide care for your child or children, take advantage of the opportunity to find care in an approved and regularly monitored day home. This web site has been designed to give you information about the advantages of monitored care and the location of our approved and monitored providers.
We are pleased to provide these efficient, professional services so you can have the peace-of-mind knowing your child will receive quality care. The services we provide parents and caregivers are intended to give the best "away-from-home care" of your child, and to support you as a parent. Details of our services follow.
